If you are in the field of SEO, you know SEO Tools are essential for quickly analyzing and rapid implementation of an SEO campaign. There are many free or affordable SEO tools out there. Some of these are common and everyone seems to be using them. Hey, if everyone uses them, then the chances are that you already know about them, so I don’t want to waste your time by talking about those. In this article, I am going to share with you 4 sites/tools/tricks that you may not know about, but could well be your next 4 picks. Between these 4 tools, you should have everything you need for a link building campaign:

1. Mike’s Free Search Engine Rankings Tool

We have used several free and paid search engine rankings tools. From all our trial and error attempts, we really did not find any free tools that really match the quality that the paid ones offer. IBP 9 has a great paid rankings tool. Web CEO (paid version) has a great one as well. Some websites offer similar rankings services for a fee. Of the free ones, my favorite is Mike’s Rankings tools. It actually remembers your previous 20 searches. I usually get rankings and then use SnagIT to record the rankings for that date. Then a month or so later, I run the rankings for the same keywords and compare it with the previous screenshot. Not the quickest way to do it, but at least it’s free, fast, accurate and has a high uptime.

2. OnlyWire: Manage networks, posts and feeds. They offer a free trial and affordable plans.

3. Moz Open Site Explorer: They offer a free community and network of tools and resources.

4. Ahrefs Site Explorer: Ahrefs is well known and has a simple site explorer tool along with other tools and services.
